Shaikh Lotfollah Mosque with 400 years old is a religious and ancient mansion dating back to the reign of Shah Abbas I in Iran. This mosque is located next to the Naqsh-e Jahan Square of Isfahan city, built by the famous architect Mohammad Reza Isfahani during 16 years. Artistic tiling and decorations made in the construction of this mosque is the most important feature of mosque, which inspires admirers of its visitors. Shaykh Lotfollah was one of the great religious scholars of Lebanon, who immigrated to Isfahan with the invitation of Shah Abbas. The mosque was built by king order in order to appreciate the high position of Sheikh Lotfollah. Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque has a dome that has been covered by the beautiful Azure tiles both inside and outside it is being built on several arches and is adorned with Quranic verses.
