Golestan Palace

Located in the Shemiranat area of Tehran and built over 440 years old, Golestan palace is one of the most exclusive historical collections in Iran. The origin of the palace's name is Because of the existence of the same name Hall that was built in this palace during the Qajar period. This collection contains different  historical monuments, the oldest of which dates back to the Zandieh era, the complex have been  used as a place of rest, hosts, guests and  banquets  by the kings of Iran. Historically and architecturally this building is one of the important monuments of Iran and being visited throughout the year by numerous domestic and foreign Tourists.  This collection has seen significant historical events such as the declaration of the Constitutional Revolution and the coronation of the Pahlavi kings. Beautiful artworks such as marble beds and drawings of Iranian famous painter Kamal al-Malik are in this palace.
